"WORLDS YOUNGEST-FATTEST MAN "
WEIGHT BEFORE: 770 POUNDS - WEIGHT AFTER: 286 POUNDS
Biography of Julian Arronte
“The Worlds Youngest, Fattest Man”
Written By – Julian Arronte

At the age of seven, walking near the Beach of Varadero, Cuba, I ran away from my Mother’s hand and was severely hit by a car. It was a near death experience with four cardiac arrests and three breathing failures. In order to save my life, the Doctors had to give me a serum treatment directly to my brain. When I arrived to the hospital at the age of seven, I weighed only 77 lbs. and when I checked out a month later my weight soared to 209 lbs. This is how my obesity problem began at a very young age.

Later on we moved from Cuba to the United States, but my obesity problem continued to grow. My craving for food went out of control. All I could do was think about eating, eating and eating. My breakfast on a normal day was one dozen eggs, two pounds of ham, one pound of cheese and a gallon of milk. I ate up to 14 to 16 times a day.

When I was still able to walk I would go to Burger King and asked for 25 double whoppers with cheese and eat them in one sitting. Another favorite place was KFC, where I would eat three 21 piece buckets of chicken all at once, and so on. By the age of 12, I weighed 440 lbs. I had an uncontrolled craving for food and an insatiable appetite. By the age of 15 I weighed more than 550 lbs.
Two years later, I weighed over 300 kilos (660 lbs.). I could no longer walk or stand on my feet. I became bedridden and was stuck in my bed for several years. Now my life had gone completely out of control. I became deeply depressed. I had no hope to lead a normal life ever again. It was at that time, I was acknowledged by the international press as “Julian Ulises Arronté Navarro, 19 years old, “THE WORLDS YOUNGEST, FATTEST MAN”.

Because of my weight problem I was bedridden for 8 long years. More than 200 medical specialists from all over the world tried to help me, but nothing worked for me. They gave up all hopes for me to lose weight. The Doctors final diagnostic was I was going to die obese at an early age.
My family decided to take one last chance. They had heard about a special stomach bypass surgeon from Paris, France. This Doctor assured my family and me that he could successfully operate on me. My family spent over $12,000.00 dollars to fly him in to see me. After the initial exam he found that my blood pressure was 180 over 160. He said that due to my extreme weight it had elevated my blood pressure much too high for him to consider the operation. He said that I would have surely died on the operating table if the surgery had gone on. He was the 200th doctor who gave up hope on me.

With this news I finally realized that there was no hope for me to ever get out of bed again. I could no longer bear the mental and physical pain of being trapped in bed with no way to get up. This was the point when I first tried to take my life into my own hands by attempting suicide on December 22, my birthday. I knew where my Grandfather had hid his loaded gun, in a shoebox, in cabinet just outside my bedroom door. I managed to roll myself out of bed and onto the floor. Then I rolled a couple more times to reach my arm out my bedroom door towards cabinet. This effort took every bit of strength I had. This was the furthest I moved from my bed in years and I became completely exhausted by the time I reached the cabinet. As my fingertips finally reached the box I then pulled out my Grandfather’s 357 Magnum while still lying on the floor. I remember feeling very angry about my problems but at the same time relieved as I pointed the gun to my head and pulled the trigger four times. To my surprise, nothing happened. Two days before, my Grandpa, who knew about my desperation to end my life, had taken the bullets out of his gun. Why did I try to commit suicide? Because it was much too hard to live in the condition that I was in. I was like a vegetable. A fat, rotten, vegetable that could not move and I was unable to do anything for myself in the bed. It really hurts when you cannot do the normal things in life like enjoy the fresh air outdoors or not to feel the touch and love of a woman. I was just a huge, gross piece of meat lying in bed, just waiting to die.

So my first suicide attempt failed. I spent the next three years trying to figure out how I was going to succeed with ending my life. At the age of 22 I told my family that I could not sleep. I told them I really needed sleeping pills to help me get some sleep. But this was all a lie, it was just another attempt to kill myself. My family gave me just one milligram of Sanx, the famous blue sleeping pills. I was waiting for the first moment my family would leave me alone in my room with the box of sleeping pills. When that moment came I took the whole box of pills, which were about 20 pills. Just after I took the pills, my personal Chef walked into the room and saw the empty box lying on the floor. He started to yell and scream to my family to call the paramedics. When the paramedics arrived they revitalized me by jumping on my stomach with their knees. I finally vomited the pills and all the food I ate that day. It was a big mess. They finished clearing out my stomach with a pump.

My third suicidal attempt occurred some years later because I had to behave well in front of my family and if I didn’t, they would tie me down to the bed to prevent me from causing further harm to myself. During this time I became even more and more depressed. The whole world was black to me and I spent most of my days thinking of ways to kill myself and how my families’ life would be better without me. I would spend my time feeling very sad and sorry for myself while planning my next suicidal attempt, an attempt that I was determined would never fail. My plan was to claim that I was very hungry, and I asked my Chef for a big sirloin steak, the biggest he could find at the market, but what I really wanted was a big metal steak knife to eat my steak with, and not the plastic ones that my family would normally give to me. When I finished the big steak I hid the steak knife under my pillow. Then I waited until everyone had left my room. I pulled the steak knife from under the pillow and I thought for sure I would succeed this time. As I was about to put the knife across my throat, suddenly an old friend of mine, who hadn’t visited me for years, walked into my room and saw me with the knife at my throat. He quickly jumped on top of me to wrestle the knife out of my hand. Once he got possession of the knife he said: “Look, the little boy is playing”. My third suicide attempt failed.
My fourth attempt occurred a couple years later and I tried to plan it well, so it wouldn’t fail. Why was I determined to commit suicide? Because it’s very hard to be a big fat piece of meat. I was a living person who had a heart but is unable to move past my bed. So this is what I did: I managed to break my ankle by jamming my foot into the frame of my bed and then I rolled off the bed. The force of me rolling and falling from the bed had twisted my ankle all the way around until it snapped. My ankle was broken but I was looking forward to having it plastered so that I could move to the next step of my plan. The doctor plastered my leg and had a metal frame installed over my bed to hold my leg up in traction. Because I was acting very depressed during this time I was also tied down to the bed. Once I had the opportunity to be alone, I managed to untie the ropes that held me down and I tied them to the metal traction frame above me so that I could break my neck by hanging. Just as I got the rope tied around my neck my Mother came into the room and saw me. She started screaming: “My son is trying to hang himself!” So the Chef ran in with his butcher knife to cut the rope from around my neck. There was a Doctor in my house at the time and he helped to revitalize me.

My fifth and last suicidal attempt took place much later. This time I took a thick stack of pillows and tried to stuff them into my mouth and down my throat. I tried to hold my breath as long as I could, so that I could die from asphyxia. Fortunately, or just out of destiny, my Mother and a Doctor came into my room to see me. Just as I was about to pass out, they quickly grabbed the pillows out of my mouth. My fifth attempt had failed too.

Now I was 27 years old, more than 200 Specialists and Doctors had agreed that I was going to die obese. They all gave up any hope for me, so I saw no use in living another day because my destiny left me in my bed, unable to get up. I was unable to take a shower or take a bath. I could not get up to go to the bathroom to relieve myself. I had to soil myself in bed and had to depend on others to clean me up. I felt like the living dead. When I was 27 I became very sick from heart disease so I had to go to the hospital for treatment. 18 people came to my room that day to take me out of the house and to the hospital. With all of their efforts they realized that they could not carry me out of my room because I could not fit through the door. Nobody expected this because I had spent 8 years inside that room lying in my bed. Nobody knew what to do. We could not figure out how to get me out of the house and to the hospital. Finally someone came up with the idea of contacting one of the television programs for help. Maybe if someone on TV saw my problem of not being able to get out of my house a solution would occur. Once the camera crews came in, it was decided to call in the fire department to cut open the side of my home so that I could be lifted out with a tow truck crane. I was then transported to the hospital on a flat bed truck. Those images were picked up by the entire world. After that I spent a month at the hospital, the doctor sent me back home with no new hope or cure for my problems.

As a result of my worldwide media exposure, a small Chinese woman approached me. She told me that she has a cure for my obesity problem. At first I didn’t understand what she was saying. I thought she said: “she has a priest”, because in Spanish “cura” means “priest”. I told her why do I need a priest? She told me: “No, not a priest, the cure is the solution for your problem.” I still didn’t understand what she was saying. I thought she was insane and I sent her out of my room, where I was unhappy and willing to die. But she insisted on speaking to me further and as she was being pushed out of the room by my brother she screamed at me: “PLEASE, GIVE ME A CHANCE THAT I CAN MAKE YOUR LIFE CHANGE. I WANT TO TALK WITH YOU FOR JUST FIVE MINUTES AND AFTER THAT YOU’LL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN”! She told me: “I have been following your story since you were 19, I saw you on Television lying in your bed and heard when you were acknowledged by the international press as Julian Ulises Arronte Navarro, “THE WORLDS YOUNGEST FATTEST MAN”.
You may be wondering, why “THE WORLDS YOUNGEST FATTEST MAN”? Because there may be a lot of fat people, but I weighed over 660 ponds when I was 19 years old and that was the name the international press gave me. I also want you to know that several times people from the Guinness Book of World Records and many television networks from all over the world came to see me while I was bedridden and I denied all of them an interview. I only allowed a single journalist to interview me.
So the little Chinese woman told me, “All I’m asking you is that you promise to me that once you have taken these 100% natural Chinese capsules and if they help you lose weight, that you will devote the rest of your life to saving other overly obese people by providing them the same weight loss capsules to them.”
So after eight long years of lying in bed, a new hope to lose weight came to me, a hope that has now become a reality. When I began taking this product, I did it without any faith that they would really work for me. After two months of taking the capsules twice a day, everyday, I had lost 53 or 66 lbs. I didn’t realize that the capsules were working for me until one day all by myself, I got out of bed to go to the bathroom. I had just started walking but I didn’t realize I was walking until my mother came into my room to bring me a café au lait. She was shocked to see me standing up and walking out of the bathroom, she screamed, “My son is walking! My son is walking!” She was so excited that she fainted and dropped the café. At that point I realized that I was out of bed on my own and then I fainted and fell to the floor. It wasn’t easy to pick me up after I came to, because I was still very big and heavy.

Finally, Julian Ulises Arronte Navarro, “THE WORLDS YOUNGEST FATTEST MAN” was able to walk. After six months of taking this product I lost between 55-60 kilos (lbs), without any special diets and without feeling hungry. The local press began to say Julian Ulises Arronte Navarro, “THE WORLDS YOUNGEST FATTEST MAN” had either cancer or Aids. So I was invited to be interviewed on a live local TV program where a person from the audience who had been following my story for six months, asked me if I had Aids. Surprised and offended, I said, “No, I don’t have Aids or bone cancer. I’ve been taking a product that a Chinese lady gave me six months ago, and she made me swear that once it worked for me I would devote my life to look for people who weight 500 pounds or more and perform the same humanitarian effort she had done for me”. The TV station received more than 3,000 phone calls from people who wanted to take the same product I was using. One day I asked the Chinese woman, “Tell me, where did you get this product?” She told me her father was a Chinese Herbalist who owned part of the laboratory that produced the product. He formulated the capsules with herbal ingredients that are natural and safe. It is an old Chinese Herbal blend that has been used in China for many centuries.
Since then and over the last three years the product has helped over 27 million people from all over the world to lose weight. I have kept my promise to find and help people who weigh more than 500 lbs. Any person who weighs over 500 pounds will be given the product, by me personally, for free, for lifetime, as I have swore to do. Since this product has help so many overly obese people to lose weight, the international news and press have named it as “the miraculous capsules”, because these natural herbal capsules have achieved what medicine could not. This product has brought many people a new life. It has help other people who were bedridden and people who need to lose a few extra pounds.

In Mexico, Julian Ulises Arronte, “THE WORLDS YOUNGEST FATTEST MAN”, went on the TV news and told how he had lost 200 kilos (440 lbs.) with a natural Chinese product and how he is on a quest to find other overly obese people. He wants to save others who have no other hopes to lose weight. He has appeared on hundreds of news and television shows such as Televisa, TV Azteca and Multimedios news as well as radio broadcast and newspapers looking to rescue anyone who weighs over 500 poundss. The press quickly became interested in his amazing story and his humanitarian work. The media has helped Julian find many very overweight people. The product normally produces enough weight loss to take a person who is bedridden to standing and walking within 5 to 6 weeks after taking the product twice a day. Both the press and the overweight people are always very skeptical at first, but, we have documented proof of the weight that was lost by overly obese people. For example after 6 months of the taking the herbal capsules, Mr. Manuel Uribe, who was known as the fattest person in Mexico, started walking again after many years in bed. The same thing happened with Samuel Fuentes, Con Oscar Guadalupe, and Raymundo Cardenas. All of them, were laid up in bed for years. They are now walking in front of the cameras, as are many others around the country of Mexico. These are the reason why this product has been considered around the world and now in the United States as the “miraculous capsules”. Through the power of the media Julian has been able to find and help 123 overly obese Mexicans to walk again.

Now Julian is coming to the United States to look for people who weigh more than 500 poundss to give them his formula for free for their lifetime. He does this so he can give back someone’s life as his was given back to him.

Tallest Man in the World

Here's the Tallest Man in the World

Bao Xishun held the title as the world's Tallest Man at 7 feet and 8.95 inches in the Guinness Book of World Records from 2005 until 2007, In 2007, he was surpassed as the tallest man alive by Leonid Stadnyk of the Ukraine. In August 2008, Xishun regained the title of the world's tallest man after Stadnyk failed to follow the measuring requirements set forth by Guinness.

Bao Xishun, a herdsman from Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, was recently married in a traditional ceremony to a 28-year-old saleswoman from his hometown. At 5ft 6 Xia Shujian only comes up to his elbow and is half his age.

He claims he was of normal height until he was 16 when he experienced a growth spurt and reached his present height seven years later.

Mr Xishun was confirmed as the biggest human being and the tallest person by the Guinness Book of Records last year. Bao Xishun was born in China in 1951. Xi Shun was declared the world's tallest living man, after being measured in January 15, 2005, at Chifeng City Hospital, Inner Mongolia, China as 7 feet 8.95 inches tall. However in 2007 he was overtaken by the Ukrainian, Leonid Stadnyk, as the world's tallest living person.

Mr Pingping was born nearby in Wulanchabu city, Inner Mongolia. His father claims he was only the size of an adult’s palm at birth.

He is now seeking to be registered as the world’s shortest man by the Guinness Book of Recrods. He could be in for a disappointment though. While Mr Pingping is 73cms tall, the current holder of the title Lin Yih-Chih was measured as 67.5cm.

The tallest man in medical history for whom there is irrefutable evidence is Robert Pershing Wadlow. He was born at Alton, Illinois, USA, on February 22, 1918, and when he was last measured on June 27, 1940, was found to be 2.72 m (8 ft 11.1 in) tall.

Wadlow died at 1:30 a.m. on July 15, 1940, in a hotel in Manistee, Michigan, as a result of a septic blister on his right ankle caused by a brace, which had been poorly fitted only a week earlier. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Alton, in a coffin measuring 3.28 m (10 ft 9 in) long, 81 cm (32 in) wide and 76 cm (30 in) deep.

I hope you enjoyed learning about the Tallest Man in the world. When we tried to find out which is the Tallest Man in the world we found this information. Kalam frisking: Delhi Police in a fix over FIR

Delhi Police seems to be in a state of confusion on lodging a case against officials of Continental Airlines for frisking former president A P J Abdul Kalam though government said an FIR has already been registered.

A senior police official said a case is yet to be registered in connection with the three-month-old incident, which created uproar in the country, with political leaders raising the issue in Parliament.

However, the Civil Aviation Ministry had said in a statement on July 21 that the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) had registered an FIR on the matter with the Station House Officer of IGI Airport Police Station.

Non registration of the case seems to be due to the fact that the BCAS circular relating to protocol on VVIPS and VIPs was not covered by the Aircraft Act under which an FIR can be filed in this case. Officials said they are now exploring ways to tackle the issue.

In its complaint, the BCAS has said that an enquiry found that the staff had wrongfully carried out pre-embarkation body check of Kalam under the direction of airlines' Security-in-charge, Country Director and Station Manager.

The BCAS also said the body check was in gross violation of a BCAS circular which exempts specified VVIPS and VIPs from pre-embarkation checks.

"The BCAS has registered an FIR with the SHO, IGI Airport Police Station, against all the concerned staff of the Continental Airlines under Section 11A of Aircraft Act, 1934 for willful violation of the directions issued by BCAS," the statement had said.

Abhishek Bachchan more mature than Paa!
by: Times News Network
24 Jul 2009

Balki’s forthcoming film, Paa has an unconventional storyline where Amitabh Bachchan plays Abhishek’s son. And the idea for this premise is A mitabh and Abhishek’s real life conversation.

Confirming the news, Balki said, “One day during the shooting of Cheeni Kum, when I was discussing scenes with Amitji, Abhishek walked in. That’s when I saw Abhishek, who’s known as the brat, having a serious conversation with his father. In fact, at that moment, he came across as the more mature of the two. And I thought why not explore their relationship
in that light? That’s how the role reversal happened.”

At that time Balki knew nothing about progeria, which is a rare congenital abnormality characterised by premature and rapid aging, which Amitabh’s character is shown to have in Paa. He said, “I only knew a son of a friend whose hormones were developing faster than normal. That friend put me on to a doctor who deals with child-growth issues. He told me about progeria.”

That set the ball rolling and Balki began his research. “I found out about this family in Kolkata where four of the children suffered from progeria. I then contacted the Progeria Research Foundation, who provided a lot of matter. It happens in one out of eight million cases. But finally I decided not to do a fully authentic representation of the ailment. We’ve resorted to a lot of artistic licence,” said Balki.

For instance, Amitabh who plays the one with the rapid-aging disease is shown as tall as he is in real life. Balki elaborated, “Normally, a progeria patient can’t be that tall. So Paa is not a hundred per cent authentic representation of the disease. It’s more an emotional father-son story with the ailment as a backdrop. I haven’t gone into details of the disease.”

A Fruitful Venture

My stay in Mumbai for Internship at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport has indeed enriched my experience. Mumbai moves fast and it’s a great honour to have an opportunity to work in one of the largest airport in India. It is a big achievement staying there during late hours at night and handling all Ground Services from Departure to Take off and from Arrival to Exit Gate. The truth can not be denied that there is no other airport like CSIA built in India, which is so well maintained by Airport Authority and GVK. The practical lessons given over there boosted my confidence level and presented me a valuable lesson in life.

1. At Departure Area :

· To greet the passengers and check their tickets and Photo Id at the departure gate.

· To tell the passengers about baggage screening or checking, then send them for check-in-process.

· To help the passengers in completion of their check-in-process.

· To check the boarding passes at security holds and tell them their boarding gates.

· After all these above process, wishing the passengers a safe flight and a happy journey.

2. At Arrival Area :

· To greet and welcome the passengers at first sight . It made me realize that the foreigners seemed to be instilled with mannerism.

· To check their tickets if they are international transfers.

· When their tickets are checked, we had to fill a sheet which had following details like name of the passengers, number of passengers, final destination, departure time, coach number and driver’s name.

· After filling all the above details, we had to request them to wait and provide them their coach timings.

· When the coach comes then we have to inform about all International transfers.

· In the case of non- international transfers or local passengers, we had to tell them about the conveyer belt for their baggage.

· After receiving the baggage, we had to help them out and ask about the facilities required.

· Then they are made to proceed towards the exit gate.

I believed that this experienced had now open the gates of heaven that lies ahead awaited

My communication became effective and I inculcated the habit of working late during night. It made me develop the capacity to stand for long hours and it created awareness of the procedure that undergoes between departure to take off and arrival to exit gate. The knowledge of all the equipments which are at work at the airport was commendable. The opportunity to meet the celebrities and feel the difference between glamour world and real life gave me an insight. Last but not the least , it was a powerful source of collecting the contacts which I’m sure would be a stepping stone helping me to flourish in the days to come.

Benefits of Trees

Most trees and shrubs in cities or communities are planted to provide beauty or shade. These are two excellent reasons for their use. Woody plants also serve many other purposes, and it often is helpful to consider these other functions when selecting a tree or shrub for the landscape. The benefits of trees can be grouped into social, communal, environmental, and economic categories.

Social Benefits

We like trees around us because they make life more pleasant. Most of us respond to the presence of trees beyond simply observing their beauty. We feel serene, peaceful, restful, and tranquil in a grove of trees. We are “at home” there. Hospital patients have been shown to recover from surgery more quickly when their hospital room offered a view of trees. The strong ties between people and trees are most evident in the resistance of community residents to removing trees to widen streets. Or we note the heroic efforts of individuals and organizations to save particularly large or historic trees in a community.

The stature, strength, and endurance of trees give them a cathedral-like quality. Because of their potential for long life, trees frequently are planted as living memorials. We often become personally attached to trees that we or those we love have planted.

Environmental Benefits

Trees alter the environment in which we live by moderating climate, improving air quality, conserving water, and harboring wildlife. Climate control is obtained by moderating the effects of sun, wind, and rain. Radiant energy from the sun is absorbed or deflected by leaves on deciduous trees in the summer and is only filtered by branches of deciduous trees in winter. We are cooler when we stand in the shade of trees and are not exposed to direct sunlight. In winter, we value the sun’s radiant energy. Therefore, we should plant only small or deciduous trees on the south side of homes.

Wind speed and direction can be affected by trees. The more compact the foliage on the tree or group of trees, the greater the influence of the windbreak. The downward fall of rain, sleet, and hail is initially absorbed or deflected by trees, which provides some protection for people, pets, and buildings. Trees intercept water, store some of it, and reduce storm runoff and the possibility of flooding.

Dew and frost are less common under trees because less radiant energy is released from the soil in those areas at night.

Temperature in the vicinity of trees is cooler than that away from trees. The larger the tree, the greater the cooling. By using trees in the cities, we are able to moderate the heat-island effect caused by pavement and buildings in commercial areas.

Air quality can be improved through the use of trees, shrubs, and turf. Leaves filter the air we breathe by removing dust and other particulates. Rain then washes the pollutants to the ground. Leaves absorb carbon dioxide from the air to form carbohydrates that are used in the plant’s structure and function. In this process, leaves also absorb other air pollutants—such as ozone, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide—and give off oxygen.

By planting trees and shrubs, we return to a more natural, less artificial environment. Birds and other wildlife are attracted to the area. The natural cycles of plant growth, reproduction, and decomposition are again present, both above and below ground. Natural harmony is restored to the urban environment.

Economic Benefits

Individual trees and shrubs have value, but the variability of species, size, condition, and function makes determining their economic value difficult. The economic benefits of trees can be both direct and indirect. Direct economic benefits are usually associated with energy costs. Air-conditioning costs are lower in a tree-shaded home. Heating costs are reduced when a home has a windbreak. Trees increase in value from the time they are planted until they mature. Trees are a wise investment of funds because landscaped homes are more valuable than nonlandscaped homes. The savings in energy costs and the increase in property value directly benefit each home owner.

The indirect economic benefits of trees are even greater. These benefits are available to the community or region. Lowered electricity bills are paid by customers when power companies are able to use less water in their cooling towers, build fewer new facilities to meet peak demands, use reduced amounts of fossil fuel in their furnaces, and use fewer measures to control air pollution. Communities also can save money if fewer facilities must be built to control storm water in the region. To the individual, these savings are small, but to the community, reductions in these expenses are often in the thousands of dollar.
